Sudan In The Dark
Having a platform means having a responsibility. Not only to speak, but to speak up for what truly matters.
For us, that means using our reach to highlight the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Sudan, which has been left in the dark, and at best, mentioned as an afterthought.
Right now, millions of Sudanese people are facing extreme food insecurity. Families that once relied on farming and trading to survive have lost access to their land, markets, and basic resources. Entire communities are cut off from food supplies, and many are going days without knowing when their next meal will come. Children are suffering from severe malnutrition, and parents are struggling to provide even the most basic needs.
This crisis is about ordinary people and mothers and fathers and children and entire communities. They can't find food or clean water or safety. Their lives have been turned upside down and survival has become a constant and daily challenge.
And that’s why we created this project.
We needed to do something meaningful with the platform we have. We’re donating 30% of proceeds from select items directly to humanitarian aid for Sudan. And we made sure to include products at a range of price points so that anyone who wants to be involved can be, regardless of their budget. It’s about coming together, using what we have to help where it’s needed most, and making sure these stories don’t go unheard.
We know we can't ever shed enough light, and we cant ever tell all the stories, and we cant ever provide all the help they need, but we can try, one project at a time.
